Ok. Hi everyone todays topic will be LITERARY ELEMENTS.
Every time we are reading we get them present this literary elements are the ones that give us a clear idea and a new way to explain things making us think. Without the literary elements will be hard to read a book since like in cooking these are the spices that give flavors to all those books, poems , songs and movies and not only that it will not matter how much time we read a book these elements are the ones that help you understand. Some of the literary elements are:
Metaphor : is to compare two things by symbols without using As or like usually is or are
You are the moon in my dark nights.
Similes: use to compare using “As and Like”
You are beautiful like the stars that shine every night or you are as cute as my puppy.
Hyperbole: an exaggeration. (You might have heard many examples of this one from your mother)
This is the best day of my whole life. I am so strong that I will knockout Chuck Norris.
Alliterations: the creation of repeating the similar sound with a specific consonant or vowel that goes at the beginning of most of the words.
We can tell where, when and why, we were there.
Rhyme: is whenever the sound of word is alike. Usually use in poems and songs.
The sheep is on the ship. The teapot shouts and spouts the tea out.
Satire: is to make fun of things. you might see this in “Hola Soy German” or “Enchufetv” or “ south park” or “the Simpsons”
The great example of the satire is to show the weekpoints and the degradation of human in many social aspects.
Symbol: is an object, animal or words that look like something but they represent or have some meaning.
Blue: sad , Eagle: pride, Mirror: reflection of yourself.
Personification: when you make an un-live thing to have feelings or to do something of human.
The forest is awake or the plants are sad.
